Celebrating our Chefs of the WHH “Meals & Messages” Project

This week we are introducing and celebrating Lily’s Social Kitchen CIC!

Lily’s Social Kitchen CIC is a not for profit organisation who provide employment and work opportunities to people who face barriers to employment. This includes people with autism with or without additional needs, people who have been part of the criminal justice system, people who have been vulnerably housed and people with mental health challenges. They support their beneficiaries through their service and then into mainstream employment working with their partners in the local areas.

“Usually we have commercial/community cafes and a catering business in which our beneficiaries work and learn. But due to pandemic these have been closed for much of the last year. Therefore being able to make meals for people in need and for our marvellous NHS workers means that our beneficiaries have been able to continue with their development and learning and able to feel connected to their local communities during this time”

“It’s been a real pleasure and joy to be part of this project with Ashford Vineyard and we would like to thank them for inviting us”.

Let’s show our appreciation by liking and following their social media pages, and sharing them far and wide to give Lily’s Social Kitchen CIC the love and recognition they deserve!
