Nic and Chris moved to Ashford in 2008 when they planted Ashford Vineyard. Chris is employed full-time for Ashford Vineyard, and Nic is employed part-time. Nic is a Speech and Language Therapist the other half of her time! They live with their 2 young girls and their energetic dog, Lola. Chris has one grown-up daughter in Essex too!
Chris is employed as Pastor at Ashford Vineyard. He also oversees the Circles side of Ashford Vineyard. He is married to Vicki, they moved to Ashford in 2014 from Reading. Chris loves to cook, and hospitality is at the very heart of them as a couple.
Liz is employed part-time as the Office Administrator and is integral to the running of all of the admin teams within Ashford Vineyard. She was born in London but has lived in Ashford for most of her life. She is married to Alan and has 3 grown-up children, a daughter-in-law, a granddaughter and a fluffy pooch called Theo. She is an avid Arsenal supporter!
Rachel is employed part-time as The Warehouse’s Site Manager. She keeps the building ticking over, and is a dab hand with a screwdriver. She and her partner Pete have 2 young sons. She loves park run and is passionate about singing, she is a proud member of Ashford Sings!
Vicki is the Compassion Cluster Leader and oversees the compassion projects at Ashford Vineyard. She is a full-time social worker and has a massive heart for seeing people loved, restored and being given the opportunity to thrive. She was born and bred in Ashford and after some time away, moved back with her husband Chris, in 2014. Vicki loves the beach and being outdoors and between them, Vicki and Chris love welcoming people into their home for food, drink & doing real life together.
Marc oversees the Gathering side of Ashford Vineyard with his wife Maddy. They moved to Ashford in 2012 from Nottingham. They have 2 young children. He is passionate about photography, videography and design, and tries to fit that in around his full-time job, and family life! Marc and Maddy plan to church plant in the near future and are excited for all that that adventure will bring.
Maddy oversees the Gathering side of Ashford Vineyard with her husband Marc. They moved to Ashford in 2012 from Nottingham. She is a Mum to 2 children. When she’s not being a Mum, she’s also a pharmacist. She loves to read and leads one of our Community Book Clubs. Maddy and Marc plan to church plant in the near future and are excited for all that that adventure will bring.
Iain oversees AV Sundays with his wife Esther. They have 2 young children. Iain is a Head Teacher at 2 local primary schools and is passionate about education in the community. He loves AV Sundays and wants to create the necessary space where people can meet with Jesus, build friendships, worship God and hear a challenging talk!
Esther oversees AV Sundays with her husband Iain. When she’s not being a Mum to her 2 young children, she is a teacher and SENCO in a local primary school. She is passionate about education and loves to create a thriving environment for children to learn. She cares about Sundays and is eager to allow space to celebrate all that God does throughout the week when we gather together on a Sunday.
Jules is employed part-time at Ashford Vineyard as our AV Kids Team Leader (Sundays). She is passionate about children and seeing the best for them. She is also a teacher and loves to make room for creativity in engaging Children, and inviting them into a loving and fun relationship with God. She is married to James and has 2 children.
James is our AV Youth Cluster Leader. He is passionate about young people and is always striving to help them to achieve the best version of themselves possible. He loves to sing and is a big part of the men’s section in Ashford Sings! He was born and raised in Ashford and is married to Sara and they have 2 young children.
Dave is our Giving Coordinator at Ashford Vineyard and is a full-time Secondary School teacher. He is married to Laura and they have 4 children. Dave and Laura lead a family Circle at Ashford Vineyard. They are planning on church planting in the near future and are passionate about seeing people loved and valued for who they are.
